1About these terms
This website and every Abu El Zulof Kahwa branch — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Damascus Boulevard and Ard Diar — are operated by Abu El Zulof (“we”, “us”).
These terms apply when you use this website or our menu site, send us a form, book a table, order catering or a private event, or visit one of our branches. By doing so, you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
How we handle your personal information is set out separately, in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2Using our website
You are welcome to browse the website and share its pages. In return, we ask that you do not:
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks these terms;
- send us false details, or a form in someone else’s name;
- try to reach parts of the site or its server that are not meant for the public, or test, probe or overload them;
- copy the site or its content in bulk, by hand or by automated means;
- upload or send anything that carries a virus or other harmful code.
We keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time.
4Allergies and dietary needs
Our kitchens handle nuts, sesame, dairy, eggs, gluten, fish and other common allergens, and our dishes may contain them or traces of them.
If you have an allergy, an intolerance or a dietary requirement, please tell your server before you order, every time. We will tell you what we know about each dish, but we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free of an allergen. Menu descriptions online are a guide and are not a substitute for asking.
5Visiting our branches
We want every guest to feel at home. To keep it that way for everyone:
- a table we hold for you is kept for a short time after the booked hour, and may be given to other guests if you have not arrived or let us know you are running late;
- shisha is served only to guests aged 18 or over, in the areas where the law allows it, and we may ask for proof of age;
- children are welcome and should be looked after by the adults with them at all times;
- please respect the house, the other guests and our team; we may decline or end service to anyone who does not;
- branch hours, seating and services may vary, and may change on public holidays and during Ramadan.
6Catering and private events
Where a branch offers catering or private functions, a request sent through the website is an enquiry, not a booking. It becomes a booking only when we have sent you a written quote and you have accepted it, and any deposit the quote asks for has been received.
The quote sets out what you are booking: the menu, the number of guests, the date, time and venue, the price, how and when it is paid, and what happens if the event is changed or cancelled. Where the quote and these terms differ, the quote applies.
- Final guest numbers and any dietary needs should reach us by the date the quote gives.
- Changes after confirmation are made where we can, and may change the price.
- If something outside our reasonable control prevents an event, we will work with you on a new date first, and otherwise as the quote provides.
7Reviews and feedback
We read every piece of feedback, and we may use what you tell us to improve our food and service.
If you tick “Show my review on the website”, you allow us to publish your rating and review on our website, free of charge, under your first name and the initial of your last name, never your full name. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
Reviews are read before they appear, and we may decline or remove one that is not a genuine account of a visit, that is offensive, unlawful or about someone else, or that contains personal details or advertising. We do not edit what you write, except to remove such details.
Reviews written on Google and other platforms are subject to those platforms’ own terms.
8Job applications
Sending us your details through the careers form is an application, not a contract. A role is offered only in a written offer from us, and employment is governed by the contract you then sign and by the labour law of the country of the branch.
Please make sure what you send us is true and your own. We may withdraw from a process if it is not.
9Franchise enquiries
What the franchise pages say about our concept, our markets and our support is general information, not an offer of a franchise. No territory, licence or right is granted, and nothing binds either side, until a franchise agreement is signed by both.
Anything we share with you about our business while we talk — figures, plans, documents — is confidential, and may be used only to consider the opportunity.
10Our name and our work
Abu El Zulof Kahwa is a trademark registered in the United Arab Emirates, No. 337328, and all rights in it are reserved worldwide. The name, our logos and marks — the moustache among them — and the photographs, films, text, menus and design of this website belong to us or to those who license them to us.
You may view them and share links to our pages. You may not copy, reproduce, change or use them commercially, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests a connection with us, without our written permission.
11Other websites
The website links to services run by others: maps and directions, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat and Google reviews. They are there for your convenience; we do not control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
12Our responsibility to you
The website and its content are provided for general information. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on it, for loss of business or profit, or for loss that could not reasonably have been foreseen.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any responsibility that cannot by law be limited or excluded, or takes away the rights you have as a consumer, including under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and the consumer protection law of the Syrian Arab Republic.
13The law that applies
If you have a concern, please tell us first: most things are put right fastest by a conversation with the branch. Where a dispute cannot be settled that way, the law and courts of the country of the branch concerned apply.

14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and the version on this page at the time you use the website, or make a booking, is the one that applies. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the website.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
